Artwork Requirements

To ensure the highest-quality DTF transfers, please review the artwork guidelines below before uploading your files.
All orders are printed exactly as submitted, and proper file preparation is essential for accurate results.

Required File Specifications

All artworkfor Singles or Gang Sheets must be:

PNG format
Transparent background (no white backgrounds or hidden layers)
300 DPI strongly recommended
Not mirrored or reversed
No neon, fluorescent, or highlighter colors
No overlapping images or elements outside the artboard
Correctly cropped — our system reads the bounding box, not the visual edges

Image Quality Responsibility

4CaliSwag prints your artwork exactly as it is uploaded. We do not alter, adjust, enhance, or correct your design.

Because of this:

Print quality is 100% dependent on the artwork you provide
4CaliSwag is not responsible for blurry, pixelated, hazy, distorted, stretched, or low-resolution prints caused by poor-quality or incorrectly sized files.
Gang sheets are often very large, and image issues may not be visible on your thumbnail or small preview.

About DPI, Converters & Resizing

We recommend 300 DPI only when the art is created at the correct size.

Artificially “converting” DPI through online tools often creates worse quality.

Please avoid online DPI converters, which often:

Shrink the overall file size
Compress the artwork
Create pixelation when scaled back up
Cause haziness or soft edges

If the file you submit is only 6–8" wide when a 22” gang sheet is expected, we cannot print it and may cancel your order with store credit.

Design Software Export Guidelines

If using Canva, Procreate, Illustrator, Photoshop, or other design tools:

Export at full size with the highest resolution
Ensure background is set to transparent
In Canva, slide the Quality bar fully to the right before saving

Avoid converting DPI using Mac Preview or third-party tools—this compresses your image and results in pixelation.

Best Practice

A clean, original 96 DPI file with crisp pixel detail is better than a converted 300 DPI file that was artificially upscaled.
Always zoom to 100% to inspect quality before uploading.

If it looks blurry on your screen at full size, it will print blurry.
